A Mustang convertible took us to Key West under mostly sunny skies.
We stopped in Islamorada to pick up Lisa, her sister. Lisa bought a 45-foot fishing boat after she retired.

We stopped for lunch on the drive north at Keys Fisheries in Marathon. Their lobster reuben is highly recommended.
The surf is always calm at Sombrero Beach.
But you do have to watch out for man 'o war jellyfish.
Lisa drops anchor on the Gulf side, not far from Library Beach. She sailed down from Long Island, picking up the Intracoastal waterway in the Chesapeake Bay. An app on her phone helped her stay on course.
"I'll never live on land again!" Lisa declared.
