Gone Fishin'

Even at quite a distance, you could tell that a woman fishing on the beach at Cherry Grove had landed a big one by the bend in her rod.

The woman in the blue shirt was very proud of her wife who hooked the striped bass.  And just like a husband, she took charge of the situation.  They've been together for 30 years, married for 10!

"If it's at least 28 inches, we'll grill it for dinner," she declared proudly.  Not because she's a size queen but because that's New York State fishing law.

It wasn't to be.
