Hello, Dali!

You definitely get a lot more bang for your buck at the Dali Museum.

Notice the irreverent artist in the lower left corner.  Meta, no?

Dali's feminist allusion to Christ on the cross is unmistakable.

The museum's exterior resembles a surrealist golfball plunked next to the bay.

A bench nods to his most iconic image.

Here's Christine in the festooned garden.

A temporary show exhibited Dali's work alongside that of Rene Magritte, his fellow surrealist.

Visitors are even given an opportunity to insert themselves into the artist's works.

This warning definitely piqued our curiosity.

Did an amputee arrive in stilettos?

I particularly loved "Dinner in the Desert Lit by Burning Giraffes," which looks like it could have been a New Yorker cartoon.

A burning giraffe presided over the imaginative gift shop that is almost as big as the museum.

My first bathroom selfie will probably be my best!
