Wormwood Sour

The savings we derived from using Airbnb for our lodgings (which worked out to an average of just $30 per person per night) prevented me from complaining about dining at a fancy restaurant in downtown Halifax on Saturday night.

Although my unmemorable salmon entree was a lot better than the off-key lounge singer at the Press Gang who butchered "Heroes" and several other songs during our meal, it couldn't compare to this specialty cocktail.

Gin mixed with lemon juice and absinthe is delicious enough to make at home.  Bottoms up!
