Thom's brother and sister-in-law, couldn't use the week-long time-share condo stay they won at a silent auction, so Thom took me for my birthday. Here's Delia parked in front of the Smuggler's Notch entrance, halfway between Jeffersonville to the north and Stowe Mountain Resort to the south.
Finding the Trailside Heights complex wasn't easy at night when we arrived. The two-bedroom condo had everything we needed, right down to a nutcracker. And a resident groundhog. Thom's enormous bedroom had a gas fireplace and a jacuzzi bathtub. Mine could sleep four people with a double bed and two singles. Hyatt Hotels manages the place.
I took early morning advantage of the pool more than once. Thanks Jimmy and Deanna!
